The Energy Act 2011 (Commencement No.1 and Saving) Order 2012 brings into force the provisions of Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Energy Act 2011, which relate to the green deal.

It also includes measures relating to upstream petroleum infrastructure, downstream gas-processing facilities and carbon dioxide pipelines, as well as bringing into force s.118 of the Act – which concerns the amendment and repeal of measures relating to home energy efficiency.
