The Biofuels and Other Fuel Substitutes (Payment of Excise Duties etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 permit the production and storage of bioethanol to be used in the production of biodiesel and hydrocarbon-bioethanol blends in an excise warehouse.

Producers of biofuels must keep motor fuels records in accordance with these regulations.
