In this webinar with The Society for the Environment, we heard from Chartered Environmentalists about what they do and why being a registered CEnv is important to them. This webinar is open to both members and non-members of IEMA and will be relevant to those who aspire to, or are ready to, become a Chartered Environmentalist or Registered Environmental Practitioner. Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Independent of discipline, Chartership reflects a high level of skill and experience, setting Chartered Environmentalists apart from others working in their field. It enhances career prospects and aligns with IEMA’s Full and Fellow level memberships. Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) The Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) designation is a new title which recognises the level of professional practice of people operating within the environmental sector, aligning with IEMA’s Practitioner level membership. It signifies a standard of environmental expertise, practice, and skills held by professionals spanning the breadth of academia, government, industry, consultancy, and other public and private sectors. The Society for the Environment In the UK and across the world, Chartered Environmentalists utilise their specific expertise to lead departments, advise governments and work hands-on as practitioners. IEMA is licensed by the Society to award CEnv and REnvP to sustainability professionals who meet the criteria. IEMA has the most CEnvs registered of any licensed body and registers most CEnvs on an annual basis.
