How the UN COP 15 Global Biodiversity Targets might impact on business

In December 2022 the international delegates to the UN COP 15 biodiversity conference agreed on a new set of Targets to reduce impacts on, and promote recovery of, biodiversity. This webinar provides an overview of the outcomes of the December meeting and looks at what the targets might mean for business. Targets of relevance include a reduction in pollution, the contribution to mitigation and adaptation, and ensuring that all areas of agriculture, aquaculture and forestry are managed sustainably. We take a deeper dive into Target 15 that is specifically for business and includes monitoring, assessing and disclosing risks, dependencies and impacts. Our speakers include: Mark Johnston, Chair of the UK Business and Biodiversity Forum and Strategy Lead for Biodiversity and Nature Based Solutions at BP Edward Pollard, Strategic Director, The Biodiversity Consultancy Tom Butterworth, Head of Ecology at WSP
