I am an environmental Scientist that has had experience in diverse fields, from water and soil pollution to biodiversity net gain. I did a most of my undergraduate courses at Aberdeen University and the very last year at Kingston University, both Universities have a distinctive way to tackle environmental issues. I found The University of Aberdeen more focus on conservation while Kingston University explore more climate change adaptations and social interactions to environmental factors. I am naturally inclined toward understanding of ecosystem dynamics and pollution with a recent developed taste for planning as a tool to control biodiversity losses, hence my interest for BNG. For my master’s degree I chose to investigate the implications of adopting BNG in Scotland. I have worked as environmental advisor for more than 6 years

Edward, an IEMA Chartered Environmental and Sustainability Professional, is a Multiple Award Winning Health Safety Quality and Environmental Sustainability (HSQES) professional with demonstrable passion, commitment and hands-on practical experience across Oil and Gas, Energy & Power, Construction, Healthcare, Educational Management (University Lecturer), Independent Consultancy and Professional Membership. Keen on advancing the course of IEMA by deploying my strong interpersonal skills, knowledge and abilities to grow IEMA. A well-rounded Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor, Competent Risk Assessor, Certified HSQES Trainer and a Regulatory Compliance Expert.
