Together, let’s drive change

As a university, you’ll want to ensure that graduates leaving environmental programmes have the right knowledge, skills and tools to deliver value in a global economy. Arm your graduates with the expertise and understanding they need to secure a job in environment and sustainability and ultimately lead change.

How to become an approved IEMA University Partner

To become an Approved IEMA University Partner, Universities must map their appropriate course(s) to the Graduate membership standard. Linking course content to the IEMA internationally-recognised Graduate standard ensures students have the right knowledge and skills to compete in a continuously developing market. Completing an IEMA approved course will ensure students graduate with the professionally recognised GradIEMA suffix, signifying that they are part of the next generation of sustainability leaders and enabling them to fast track an application to practitioner once they have gained sufficient experience.

Once Universities have gained approval and become an Approved IEMA University Partner you will receive an Approved University Partner Logo, a University Partner certificate, presence on the University Partner page on the IEMA website and students on approved courses will receive free IEMA Student membership for the duration of the course. Universities will also have access to our University Hub with useful information and guidance for your students.
