DEFRA and DECC Launch Consultation On Draft Guidance On How To Measure and Report Your Greenhouse Gas Emissions
IEMA are seeking your views to input into a response to this consultation. Defra and DECC have launched a joint public consultation on draft guidance for how UK organisations should measure and report their greenhouse gas emissions required by the Climate Change Act. The final guidance will be published by 1 October 2009 following consultation.As part of a public consultation on Government's Draft Guidance for Greenhouse Gas Emissions Measurement & Reporting IEMA in partnership with the Department for Environment Food and Rural affairs and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) will be holding a series of workshop events for business and industry members of IEMA across the UK. Please note that although the workshops are primarily for those from business and industry we do have places for six consultants at each workshop.
The aim of the workshops is to gather feedback on the draft guidance from those organisations likely to be affected by the new legislation.
