Lib Dems Raise Air Quality

A Liberal Democrats policy briefing on air quality launched on 20 May by Simon Hughes MP hascalculated that exposure to air pollution contributes to 24000 premature deaths in the UK each yearincluding 4400 Londoners. The figures are based on an analysis of European Environment Agency data.
