Greening Eduction – Eduction for Sustainability

30th September - 2nd October 09: Germany. This three-day International Seminar on Greening Education will guide education and environmental policy-makers academics and environmental professionals through the need for greening education and then discuss effective initiatives that governments education institutions and development organisations need to take and can take to provide sustainable knowledge skills values and practices in the classrooms and in the communities. Topics to be discussed include: ecologizing curriculum (incorporating sustainability in the curriculum); greening delivery of courses (sustainability compatible education delivery); and low carbon institutions. The event also aims to provide an excellent networking opportunity with education institutions international agencies governmental and non-governmental organisations sustainable development practitioners and other stakeholders in Europe and beyond.
