The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) is currently preparing a Low Carbon Industrial Strategy, and as part of the stakeholder engagement process, has launched an interactive website and online community.

This website represents an opportunity for the public to comment on the Government's national vision for the transition to low carbon, and on how the Government can be a catalyst for low carbon growth and set business on the path to building the low carbon economy.

The Government's vision covers four main areas: Saving businesses, consumers and the Government money through energy efficiency; putting in place the energy infrastructure for the UK's low carbon future; making the UK a global leader in the development and production of low carbon vehicles; and, making the UK the best place in the world to locate and grow a low carbon business.
