A report summarising the findings of the Homes and Communities Academy's first online 'Debate Place' has been released, which highlights key messages from the debate.

It highlights the complexity of creating any new community, let alone a 'low carbon' one. Several comments relate directly to the relevance and usefulness of having an opportunity to learn and share views.

The second of these online debates will be held in April, focusing on the question, 'In the midst of recession how can we develop cohesive communities?'
