Car Free Developments Research Forum

The outcome of a research forum on �The Potential of Car-Free Developments - practicalities and Health Impacts' has just been published by the WHOCollaborating Centre for Healthy Cities and Urban Policy. The forum held at the University of the West of England (UWE) on 2 May 2007 was unusual for its emphasis on knowledge exchange between participants who included representatives from local authorities architectural and planning consultancies government agencies academia and NGOs.
