Launched by UK CEED in partnership with EDF Energy and supported by DEFRA the National Energy Efficiency Awards will highlight the importance of energy efficiency in combating climate change and seek to increase the take up of energy efficiency measures amongst business government and consumers.

Winning a National Energy Efficiency Award will provide you and your organisation with national recognition for environmental good practice. Through the media partnership with The Independent newspaper (circulation c250000 estimated readership 700000) all short listed entries will feature in a full colour supplement which will be published in The Independent on the week of the Awards ceremony.

Featuring your organisation in this supplement will ensure that you receive national exposure and publicity. To further increase the positive exposure your company will also be included on the National Energy Efficiency Awards website which will be linked to the websites of all supporting organisations. In addition to gaining great promotion all short listed entrants will be invited to attend a high profile Awards dinner at the Science Museum on the 6th December 2006.
