UAE and Germany sign environment MoU

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Germany have signed a Memo of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in environmental fields. The MoU was signed by UAE Minister of Health and Board Chairman of The Federal Environment Body, Abdulrahman Al Midfa'a, on behalf of the UAE, and Germany's Deputy Minister for Federal Environment, Nature Protection and Nuclear Reactors Security, whereby the two sides would exchange information and expertise and hold symposiums, workshops and conferences in either countries. The signed memo also includes environmental cooperation among non- governmental establishments.
