This session led by Eloise Scotford, Professor of Environmental Law at University College London and Martin Baxter, Chief Policy Advisor at IEMA supported participants in gaining an understanding of underpinning environmental principles and the potential impact of their practical application in policy making.
The Environment Bill sets a new environmental governance framework as the UK leaves the European Union’s environmental policy and legislative structures. A critical part of the new framework is the application of underpinning environmental principles to the policy development process.
This webinar directly supports the “Policy, Regulation and Legislation” competency area of the IEMA Sustainability Skill Map.
