The role of environmental management professionals has developed significantly over the years as the link between effective environmental management and business productivity and competitiveness have become more closely aligned.
In this webinar, IEMA Chief Policy Advisor Martin Baxter kicks off the 2020 Environmental management webinar series with a Back-to-Basics session aimed at early career professionals or those new to environmental management, to better understand the strategic and transverse nature of this discipline.
During this session attendees will gain an understanding of:
- Key environmental issues that should be considered.
- How key tools can be applied in practice (i.e. life cycle assessment).
- What sustainability skills are needed (i.e. ability to apply knowledge and use tools to make organisational and behavioural change).
- The multidisciplinary approach to adopt across different environmental media.
This webinar counts for 1 hour of CPD, so don’t forget to add it to your IEMA CPD Portal. This can be accessed through your member account on iema.net.
