IEMA establishes new member group for sustainable finance
Following an extensive expression of interest exercise (EoI) that was conducted with the IEMA membership in February a new sustainable finance network steering group has now been established.
The group will meet for the first time in due course to elect a chairperson and begin establishing a work programme for the remainder of 2023.
The group’s remit is to deliver policy and practice activity that advances the sustainable finance agenda and ESG (environmental social and governance) more widely both domestically and internationally.
The group is comprised of the following IEMA members:
- Adrian Barnes Head of Analytics Green Investment Group
- Hayden Morgan Partner and Head of Sustainable Finance Consultancy Pinsent Masons
- Albert Seoane Miguel Sustainability Analyst EcoAct
- Chris Clarke Climate Change and Sustainability Manager UK Export Finance
- Claire Cummins Head of ESG Climate Fund Managers
- Colette Curran Director Sustainable Infrastructure Arup
- David Luck former Head of Sustainability (UK financial services)
- Denise Prairie Wright Executive Director Boreal Capital
- Harriet Parker Head of Sustainability and ESG Low Carbon
- Mark Browning Director of Environmental Management & Sustainability Jacobs
- Neal Barker Director WSP
- Tilly Shaw Associate Director Verco
- Amelia Woodley Director of ESG Speedy Services
As a reminder the details of the EoI exercise can be found here. Given the volume and quality of applications the decision was taken to appoint 13 members to the group rather than the 10 that were initially advertised.
