Lynne has worked in the sustainability field for over 25 years, 15 of which have been in the built environment and infrastructure arena. She is currently Technical Director at BSRIA, a (not for profit) test, instruments, research and consultancy organisation whose objective is to Make Buildings Better. Lynne is recognised as a national sustainability expert, being retained as a Built Environment Expert by CABE for over 9 years and serving on several public bodies. In her consultancy roles she has built and managed commercial consultancy teams, and ran complex projects involving multi-organisational experts and stakeholders. She has also held national and international senior corporate sustainability roles under three different company owners and global strategies. Lynne led the programme that resulted a previous company ranking 63rd in the Corporate Knights “Global 100 most sustainable corporations in the world” index.
She brings together detailed technical knowledge of sustainability – particularly in the built environment - with the understanding of the functioning of organisations and how to read and influence their culture and strategy.
Lynne has an interest in helping new and emerging talent to develop. She mentors women starting or advancing their middle management careers. She is a guest lecturer for the University of Bedfordshire,and delivers training for organisations such as the UK Green Building Council.
