Over his twelve years at NUS, Jamie has helped create a strong student voice on sustainability, and a compelling vison for students’ unions. He has grown NUS’ sustainability function from a single role to 25 dedicated sustainability staff, with NUS delivering successful individual and institutional sustainability change projects into 75 universities and colleges each year. NUS is regarded as a strong agent for change on sustainability within tertiary education and wider society. In February 2014 Jamie won the Guardian University Award for Inspiring Leadership for his work on sustainability.
