Helen Lane is an experienced international environmental and social professional having spent over 16 years managing multiple projects and initiatives in MENA, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. She is recently joined Hatch as Senior Consultant in the London ESG team, supporting clients on compliance to IFC standards, conducting Environmental and Social Due Diligence, and directing the implementation of E&S corporate standards. Helen previously worked for Shell where she held a range of environmental and social roles, most recently investigating new opportunities for acquisitions and divestments, conducting due diligence, and leading HSSE input to major bids. She also led client-side multi-disciplinary ESIA. A recent contract with a major investment bank enabled Helen to work directly with bankers, ECAs and developers on Equator Principles project finance deals.
