Sustainability Manager (Remote -Must be UK based and ideally located in or near to Cambridgeshire.)

Looking for a passionate Sustainability Manager to come into this greenfield role and create the Sustainability function.

Working for a large hospitality focused business with circa 6000 employees you will have a passion and drive to make an impact and drive a positive difference. This role will be both client facing and internally facing and will be a key position in leading on future certifications/accreditations and projects that align with the overall sustainability strategy.

Due to recent expansion into Europe this opportunity also provides the holder an opportunity to develop the role to include their Germany based business and will likely lead on the Sustainability strategy and delivery for that region also. In terms of typical duties the role will evolve and drive initiatives like Net Zero, waste reduction, and supply chain integrity initially.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in environmental or sustainability discipline or equivalent/relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., Experience with Ecovadis would be very useful).
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Desirable: Project management or change management experience
• Desirable: Operational improvement/Process efficiency/Continuous Improvement experience (i.e. Kaizen, Lean & Six Sigma etc)
• Ability to manage multiple projects of work within clear timeframes and to budget.
• Desirable: German language skills
