Senior Consultant - Sustainability Advisory
Location - London
Cushman & Wakefield's EMEA ESG Advisory team is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to support development and implementation of sustainability solutions for our pan European clients.
We want our Senior Consultant to be a key point of contact for client engagements and will be crucial in maintain client satisfaction and growth for key clients.
You will also collaborate with our wider real estate business both in EMEA and globally to develop innovative solutions to accelerate progress toward our clients' ambitious ESG goals at the corporate, portfolio, and/or asset levels.
This role will see you delivering ESG reporting and advisory services (specifically GRESB and SFDR) for pan European clients.
Working to improve our client's ESG performance, supporting achieve ESG objectives and be expected to monitor and report progress and trends, supporting continuous improvement. In addition to this we want you to have keen interest in legislative developments across Europe to support bring the latest solutions and advice to clients.
This role offers development opportunity to support C&W's endeavors to bring new and innovative methods & technologies for reporting, getting involved in working with our teams and partners globally and supporting development of C&W's data & reporting capabilities.
Key Experience:
• Demonstrable expertise in integrating ESG into the real estate sector, which includes tracking, monitoring, and reporting (specifically GRESB and with experience of SFDR) progress towards goals.
• Good knowledge of relevant standards from the GHG accounting (The GHG Protocol), sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks (GRESB, SFDR, TCFD, etc.) and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
• Working knowledge of EU regulatory compliance frameworks
• Knowledge and understanding of investment planning for ESG improvement at an asset & portfolio level, with knowledge decarbonization planning and physical climate risk.
• Managing and communicating with multiple stakeholders including asset management, corporate real estate teams, property managers, facility manager and tenants.
• Knowledge and understanding of ESG data collection methods with competency to support improve data completeness and accuracy for reporting and management purpose.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in subjects such environmental science, engineering, climate change, sustainability, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Has 4+ years (Sr Consultant) 6-8+ Years (Associate) of sustainability within real estate experience.
