Job Details
You will play a crucial role in managing and delivering environmental assessments for a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including minerals & waste, residential, commercial and industrial developments, with most being the former. These developments are particularly interesting and can range in length.
Some examples are quarry extensions, auxiliary developments, processing plants, cement works, solar power schemes. Otherwise, they can be large-scale residential or commercial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, Environmental Statements, and supporting documents.
- Provide expert advice on environmental impacts and mitigation measures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing bespoke advice to help them achieve their goals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and other environmental specialists, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to rigorous quality management procedures.
