You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences
- Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices
- Maintain records of all incidents, accidents, and safety-related activities
- Liaise with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and permits
- Monitor and report on the company's HSE performance, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HSE
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
