We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Sustainability Business Partner to work with us across our workplace and leisure sites. This role is bybrid and will ideally include regular travel to London however the base can be flexible for the right candidate.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sustainability Lead to join CH&CO. This is a senior role designed for a passionate sustainability professional with a background in food sustainability, a dynamic approach to problem-solving, and a talent for engaging with diverse stakeholders. This individual will be integral to driving sustainability initiatives, guiding strategic decision-making, and fostering meaningful relationships with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor on sustainability issues and ensuring that client needs and expectations are met with integrity and precision
- Lead and oversee multiple sustainability projects from inception to delivery, with a strong emphasis on prioritisation, adaptability, and timely execution
- Analyse, interpret, and present sustainability data effectively. Leverage IT systems to gather, track, and report on key sustainability metrics and support data-driven decision-making
- Translate complex scientific and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including clients, our people, and management
- Develop and deliver sustainability training programs, resources, and tools tailored for operational teams, empowering them to implement sustainable practices consistently and effectively
- Contribute to the broader sustainability strategy by identifying emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches in food sustainability
Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sustainability within the food or food service industry.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across various levels.
• Strong project management skills with a knack for quick thinking and prioritization.
• Proficient in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and IT systems used for tracking sustainability metrics.
• Excellent presentation, training, and written communication skills.
• Passion for food, food service, and sustainable practices within the sector.
