Location HSE Manager

Role Context:

As HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager at Worley's Brentford office, you will be Instrumental in the continuous improvement of the HSE management systems and practices across our operations. Leveraging your expertise and leadership skills, you will drive a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote HSE stewardship within our organization. Working closely with senior management and project leads in ensuring HSE deliverables are managed within location.

You'll be:
  • supporting the London operation in Bids, Tenders and FEED requirements
  • point of contact across the London operation to the location project management teams
  • responsible for HSE technical write ups required as part of the Bid process
  • supporting and implementing HSE strategies, policies, and programs aligned with Worley's corporate objectives and industry best practices.
  • ensuring compliance with relevant HSE regulations, standards, and corporate requirements
  • leading and facilitating incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across Project portfolios
  • establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor HSE performance, analyse trends, and report findings to project management & UK HSE leadership team
  • identifying areas for improvement and taking proactive intervention
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders, clients, regulatory authorities, and industry organizations to promote HSE excellence, share best practices, and address emerging HSE challenges
  • evaluating and managing the HSE performance of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with Worley's HSE standards and expectations.
  • responsible for recruitment for HSE professionals for associated projects
  • actively support the internal audit program to 45001 & 14001 standards

You'll Have:
  • diploma in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
  • significant experience in HSE management within the engineering, construction, or energy sectors, with a track record of driving HSE excellence and achieving results
  • in-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to engineering and construction projects
  • strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams at all levels of the organisation.
  • proven ability to lead and facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments, and HSE audits, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • proficiency in HSE management systems and software tools for data analysis and reporting.
