Who are you?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sustainability and ESG Sustainability Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive forward our business impact related projects, working with clients on their sustainability and ESG strategies, policies and implementation plans. They must show success with business development, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with prospective clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and a track record of implementing and measuring successful sustainability and ESG strategies across various sectors within the entertainment and creative industries as well as demonstrable experience in at least one of entertainment, live events, sport, culture or music.

- Broad understanding of the global sustainability landscape, key environmental issues and best practices, including: Knowledge of global and local environmental legislation. Mandatory reporting requirements. Sustainability mega-trends.
- Senior level managerial experience, ability to lead teams, build strong relationships and manage a variety of stakeholder groups.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrated industry experience (preferably 5+ years) in the environmental sustainability sector;
- Working in a sustainability consultancy in ESG, CSR or a similar role
- With an analytical background such as STEM, EIA, data analysis.
- Deep understanding of and ability to align with and apply a range of sustainability and ESG principles, trends, frameworks, and reporting standards such as:
- ISO 14064-1 and various other ISO standards, SEC disclosures, SECR, CDP, SBTI and GHG Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
- Knowledge of relevant social value frameworks such as National TOMs or B Corp.
- Strong understanding and applied experience of environmental and carbon emissions auditing, Greenhouse Gas Protocol and carbon emission conversion factors (BEIS, EPA, IEA and other CF datasets).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess sustainability and ESG trends, risks and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey sustainability and ESG strategies and reports.
- Skilled project management: experienced overseeing multiple projects and managing client expectations throughout.
- Good research, analytical and mathematical skills - confident interpreting, extracting and presenting datasets into clear outputs.
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- A proven ability to use Excel to analyse, summarise and visualise complex datasets using a range of functions.
- Member of IEMA or equivalent professional industry body.
