Water & Impact Assessment is the subject of a major IA symposium that is being led by the Ireland & UK Branch of the IAIA with support from IEMA and with our research finding 90% of all UK Environmental Statements include a topic chapter related to water a webinar on this important aspects of practice is very timely.

This webinar will feature three presenters. The first presentation will be from the Environment Agency providing their latest views on how the Water Framework Directive should be assessed by developers when undertaking EIA, or wider project planning. The second will provide a consultants’ perspective on how water is featuring in current UK EIA practice and review key issues and iterations for consideration. The final presentation will feature a member of the Program Committee for the forthcoming IAIA Symposium on Water & Impact Assessment (31 August – 2 September, Lincoln, UK), setting out details of the symposium’s program and how you can get a paper into its agenda.
