The Radioactive Substances Act 1993 (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 amend the Radioactive Substances Act in order to align it more closely with the structure and terminology used in the Basic Safety Standards Directive.

In addition, the Radioactive Substances Exemption (Northern Ireland) Order 2011 revokes and replaces a series of exemption orders made under the 1993 Act.
