European Commission Regulation 109/2012 amends Regulation 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards Annex XVII, which contains a list of substances that are classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction and are not allowed to be sold in the EU. The changes reflect new science on boron compounds. The measures apply from 1 June 2012.
