SEA Workshop
The SEA training will be prepared and led by Enfusion, with extensive experience of developing methods and preparing guidance for SEA. Enfusion has undertaken over 150 SEAs (and SAs) of plans and strategies at all levels and in many sectors including spatial & development control planning, waste & minerals, transport, resource management, and water - and including successfully supporting a Council at an SEA legal challenge. The team of trainers and facilitators will be lead by Professor Barbara Carroll CEnv MIAIA MIEMA.
The application of SEA is increasingly wide spread and a core area of practice for IEMA members. As SEA evolves with new and emerging challenges, how can we ensure the continued:
- consideration of environmental sustainability?
- delivery of legal compliance that ensures a high level of protection for the environment?
- development of robust methodological approaches?
- effective integration of environmental issues within decision making?
