| Synopsis: | Welsh Ministers have a duty under the Government of Wales Act 2006 to have a Scheme that explains how they intend to promote sustainable development. Jane Davidson, Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Housing recently announced her decision to recreate this Scheme for Sustainable Development. The Scheme aims to set out a way to improve the well-being of the people of Wales and move us to using only our fair share of the earth’s finite resources. The Scheme will identify a number of new commitments to promote sustainable development. We would like your views on the new Scheme. Specific questions are outlined in the consultation document. |
