Introduction

Welcome to the Scotland North regional webpage. This page provides information on IEMA events and activities that will be held in the North of Scotland region. The group acts as a focal point providing networking opportunities and professional development for members within the region.

The Scotland North region covers Aberdeen, Caithness, Inverness, the Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Islands.

Scotland North Sub-Group

From 1st January 2006 the IEMA introduced a Scotland North Sub-Group which covers the Caithness and Sutherland area. The group was introduced for members who find it difficult to attend events as far away as Aberdeen. Events listings and information can be found in the IEMA events section .

Regional Steering groups dedicate a lot of their time, voluntarily, in arranging events and representing the IEMA's members. Contact details for both regional steering groups are listed on their regional pages.
