Abstract:

Kirklees Metropolitan Council is now one of the few Councils and organisations that has achieved the challenging EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) standard - one that is gradually becoming the industry standard. Services across the whole Council are to be congratulated on meeting this challenge as it also plays a key part of the Council's achievement as an 'Excellent' Authority.
