Abstract:

Nairn, Scotland. August 30-31 2005.

Conference Objectives

Hot Particles currently residing in the marine environment constitute an unique high hazard, low risk safety, health and environmental management problem that is complicated by intense public and regulatory interest. The conference aims to promote a broad national and international exchange of information on technologies, operations, economics, public policies and stakeholder strategy. The conference will offer an unique opportunity for a cross exchange of ideas on managing hot particle historic liabilities in a marine environment. Attendees will include scientists, academics, environmental groups and site operators.
