Abstract:

Successful companies must satisfy the increasing demand to define, implement and report the 'non-financial' elements of their business. We respect the need to assure our stakeholders that our healthy growth is sustained through transparent and responsible practices. This, our second Corporate Responsibility Report, tells you how we have improved our performance since last year's Report. In 2004, we moved to 2nd equal in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the banking sector, scoring 22 per cent above the global average for the sector.
