Abstract:

BT currently manages over 2,000 contracts with 1,400 suppliers’ worldwide, buying products and services for internal use and for re-sale through BT’s worldwide operations. With a supply chain worth over £5 billion, managing ethical and environmental risks is a vital challenge. BT is committed to maintaining ISO14001 registration, meeting legislative requirements and enhancing its brand reputation. To help achieve this, BT promotes its company values and business principles with suppliers while working collaboratively with them to share best practice and drive continuous improvement.
