| Synopsis: | This consultation seeks views on how to drive up the use of renewable energy in the UK, as part of our overall strategy for tackling climate change, and to meet our share of the EU target to source 20% of the EU’s energy from renewable sources by 2020. Responses to this consultation will help shape the UK Renewable Energy Strategy, which will be published in spring 2009, once the UK’s share of the target has been agreed. |
The IEMA are planning to provide a response to this consultation. We are seeking comments from our members in order to compile our response. We would be grateful if any member who is interested in responding could send their comments using the consultation response form by email to technical@iema.net by 19 September 2008 (so we can compile our final response in time for the 26/09/08 deadline).
