| Synopsis: | This statutory consultation is on the scope of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for a proposed National Policy Statement (NPS) on planning for new nuclear power stations. It proposes how the SEA will be undertaken, the level and type of information to be covered in the Environmental Report, and how the SEA will be integrated into the development of the proposed Nuclear NPS. |
The consultation is intended to seek views from statutory consultees. This is not a public consultation but BERR will consider any comments from other persons or organisations submitted before the consultation closes.
The IEMA are planning to provide a response to this consultation. We would like members to provide us with their comments to assist us in the preparation of our response.
