Welcome to the North East regional webpage. This page provides information on IEMA events and activities that will be held in the region. The group acts as a focal point providing networking opportunities and professional development for members within the North East.
The North East Steering Group covers Durham, Darlington, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland and Cleveland/Teeside.

Corporate Responsibility - Case Studies in Industry - 28th March 2012
This event highlighted how three North East organisations are embedding Corporate Responsibility (CR) into their businesses making a tangible difference to local communities and the environment. A variety of tools for measuring and reporting performance were discussed including the Business in the Community CR index, and the Global Reporting Initiatives reporting framework.
