Joining as a graduate not only keeps you up to date with current environmental issues but, more importantly, supports your professional development for a career in environmental management and related fields.
"The IEMA is justifiably one of the most highly regarded and respected environmental bodies in the UK. Membership of the IEMA is becoming the accepted way for environmental practitioners to demonstrate their competence to prospective employers. Throughout your career the IEMA will also provide professional support both in terms of training courses and through the network of environmental professionals that are members."
-- Dr Diana Montgomery FIEMA CEnv, Group Head of Environment, Centrica Plc.

For the first year of graduate membership a £40 subscription applies. On renewal, the graduate fee is £50.
The graduate membership tier is only valid for two years after graduation, upon completion of this two-year period normal Affiliate membership and rates apply.
However, as graduates already have a good standard of environmental knowledge from university and college education, graduates are strongly recommended to sit the Associate Membership Open Book Assessment.
This level of membership recognises your knowledge and competence and is increasingly being requested in many job descriptions. Please click here for more details of Associate Membership and the Open Book Assessment: Associate
