Regional and National Events
Regional Events: IEMA organises in excess of 100 FREE regional events throughout the UK. An increasing number of international events are also being organised. Regional events consist of vital law and legislation updates, best practice guidance workshops, professional development opportunities and social events. They are also excellent opportunities for networking and sharing best practice amongst like-minded individuals. Please visit Events for more details of upcoming IEMA regional events.
National Events: All IEMA members are eligible to discounts to attend our national conferences. These include the Annual Conference (usually held in June), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Forum, Scottish Conference and EMS National Forum. These are hugely popular events and attract high profile speakers. The Annual Conference is already an important fixture in the environmental calender. The Annual Conference is also accompanied by IEMA Annual Dinner, which attracts high-profile after dinner speakers. Please visit Conferences for more information.

Professional Indemnity Insurance
Professional Indemnity Insurance: IEMA has negotiated a special professional indemnity insurance package with S-Tech Insurance. IEMA strongly recommends that members hold Professional Indemnity insurance to protect both themselves and to also ensure that if a dispute with a client arises, there is a route to independently investigate the claim and if appropriate compensate the client. IEMA works with preferred Broker S-Tech Insurance Services and through S-Tech you are able to obtain free of charge advice, information and quotations. For many consultancies, S-Tech can offer an enhanced wording only available to IEMA members. Please contact:

EFAEP & European Network of Environmental Professionals
EFAEP & European Network of Environmental Professionals:
EFAEP is an association for professional bodies throughout Europe and was founded in 2002 in response to the increasingly important and diverse role of environmental professionals.
IEMA joined as a member body in 2009 and as a concequence, IEMA members can take advantage of EFAEP's ENEP (European Network of Environmental Professionals), a web-based platform where all members of EFAEP-registered organisations can get in touch with other environmental professionals belonging to the EFAEP network.
ENEP is currently the only website in Europe letting environmental professionals thoroughly describe their own experience and capabilities, effectively classify their skills, and quote their papers and projects in order to build a complete profile.
Simply visit http://www.environmentalprofessionals.eu for more details and to register.
