Regional Events: IEMA is one of few professional bodies that organises a series of FREE regional events for its members, which are vital for law and legislation updates, best practice guidance, professional development opportunities and socialising. Attending these regular and local events provides members with excellent opportunities for networking and sharing best practice amongst like-minded individuals. Please visit Events for more details of upcoming IEMA regional events.
National Events: All IEMA members are invited to attend IEMA’s Conferences. We are currently revising our conference programme for 2012/2013 and all membes will be notified of the conference calendar in the coming months.
Publications

'the environmentalist' magazine is published monthly and distributed to all members as a key membership feature. With a keen focus on environmental issues and sustainable business and news, policy updates, in depth features and practitioner profiles, 'the environmentalist' magazine is vital for keeping knowledge up-to-date.
'the environmentalist' also has its own dedicated website which you can find at www.environmentalistonline.com.

Surveys and Consultations
IEMA provides many opportunities for members to offer their voice and views to IEMA research projects and surveys. The findings from our regular surveys are often communicated to Governemnt, business and the media to help them understand the role of environmental practitioners and inform specific practice and policy issues.
Regulatory bodies benefit from IEMA's assistance in establishing new regulations, as IEMA members’ feedback is incredibly useful and important to them.
IEMA members are also consulted to respond via consultation papers and reaction and feedback is reported on www.environmentalistonline.com.

EFAEP & European Network of Environmental Professionals

EFAEP & European Network of Environmental Professionals:
EFAEP is an association for professional bodies throughout Europe and was founded in 2002 in response to the increasingly important and diverse role of environmental professionals.
IEMA joined as a member body in 2009 and as a consequence, IEMA members can take advantage of EFAEP's ENEP (European Network of Environmental Professionals), a web-based platform where all members of EFAEP-registered organisations can get in touch with other environmental professionals belonging to the EFAEP network.
ENEP is currently the only website in Europe letting environmental professionals thoroughly describe their own experience and capabilities, effectively classify their skills, and quote their papers and projects in order to build a complete profile.
Simply visit http://www.environmentalprofessionals.eu for more details and to register.
