The 2010 IEMA Graduate Award is now OPEN
Prizes
The Winner of the IEMA Graduate Award 2010 will receive a £2000 cash prize, free attendance to IEMA's "Environment and Business: The Challenge and the Opportunity" Conference in November and 1 year’s free IEMA Graduate membership.
One runner-up will receive a £1000 cash prize, a free place at IEMA's "Environment and Business: The Challenge and the Opportunity" Conference and 1 year’s free Graduate membership.
A profile and short article about the winner and their achievements will appear in the November issue of IEMA’s magazine ‘the environmentalist’ and e-newsletter IEMA Downloaded. A press release will also be submitted to the IEMA’s Media contacts list upon naming the winner that includes major newspapers, sector publications and websites.

How to Enter
To enter the competition Graduates must be nominated for the award using the below Nomination Sheet. Evidence must also be submitted to support the nomination that may include:
- Statements from clients/customers/other departments that have benefited as a result of improvements;
- A statement to show that the Nominee worked alone or as part of a team, including in what capacity within the team, and what individual contribution was made; and
- Descriptions of the improvements, cost-savings and other quantifiable evidence.
Please do not include Annual Reports, Environmental Policies and Environmental Statements unless it contains specific and fully justifiable evidence to the nomination.

The assessment panel that will judge the award has a vast amount of environmental experience with substantial experience of career and graduate development.
The panel includes:
