Restructuring of Fees from June 2010

From 1st June 2010, a new rationalised structure will be introduced to replace the current 28 types of individual membership to just 3. The new fee structure will be easier to understand, streamlined, remove historical anomalies and be more transparent.

Corporate membership, Specialist Registers, Chartered Environmentalist and examination (Open Book/Full etc) are unaffected.

There is a lot going on at IEMA at the moment! We are currently reviewing our media and publications, website, communications and conferences. We are able to do this because of the outstanding feedback we have received from members via our recent surveys and questionnaires. Thank you to all members who were able to spare some time to take part. We are committed to providing you with an unrivalled level of benefits and this restructure is just the first of many improvements we will make to progress our Institute, and the profession as a whole, in line with the vision for 2014.

Rewarding your loyalty as a member and advocate of IEMA, we have introduced a new ‘Spread the Word’ scheme. Simply refer a friend or colleague and receive £20 towards your next membership renewal, IEMA Conference delegate fee or IEMA publications. For more details please go to Spread the Word and start thinking about who you could recommend for IEMA membership.

We have also improved your options to pay your membership renewal. Go to Renewing Your Membership to see the options to make it easier for you to renew.

Watch this space for future news about the other improvements and projects we are working on during 2010.
