REACH

March 2013- Birmingham

REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. The law entered into force on 1 June 2007.

Practitioner views on the EC proposals for the future EIA Directive

January- February 2013

IEMA took the opportunity to raise awareness of the EC’s proposals to amend the EIA Directive and develop an understanding of the views of EIA practitioners, planners, developers, statutory bodies and anyone with an interest in EIA across the UK. These workshops have been structured to help us understand this.
