An EIA co-ordinator is the individual assigned responsibility for ensuring an EIA is undertaken effectively and efficiently; their role is much broader than project management and delivery.


The co-ordinator must gain a true overview of the development as a whole, including engineering design, information generated by the EIA is managed by the EIA co-ordinator who acts as a nexus to ensure the right information is available for project decisions at the time.
