Detailed Description

The principal function of this position is to provide a broad range of skills and understanding of the diverse range of Environmental aspects in order to maximise EIA delivery on a number of ongoing key projects. There will also be opportunity to develop new work with existing and new clients.

The priorities of this role include:
· Project management, particularly in delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments
· Report writing
· Internal and external business development
· Leadership of a team of environmental specialists
· Input into the multi-disciplinary team with engineers, planners and other colleagues

The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge.
· Skills in the delivery of EIA in market sectors such as regeneration, water, property, highways or renewables
· Report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
· Knowledge of environmental legislations, policy and best practice in respect to EIA regulations and the UK planning system
· Membership of a relevant professional body such as IEMA
