Detailed Description
The workload is focused on Environmental Acoustics, particularly in the energy sector. The team have been involved in a number of high profile projects across thermal and renewable power generation (wind, biomass, wave, tidal). They are also active in other fields such industrial, commercial and transportation sectors, and are looking to strengthen their building acoustics business.
They are seeking to appoint an Acoustician with between 2 to 5 years post-graduate experience. Candidates must be degree qualified in a Noise / Engineering discipline. Much of the work involved is of a very technical nature and requires a good understanding of physics / engineering processes, in addition to environmental aspects.
The team often work on overseas projects, and are always keen to hear from candidates interested in this aspect of the job.
