This leading global supplier of multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consulting services, now have an opportunity for an experienced energy and sustainability professional to come and join their team. This leading name in the industry with a presence in more than 30 countries worldwide are a global company with clients including multinationals, major corporates, government bodies, financial institutions and manufacturers. The Professional Advisor team in Scotland is a well established, successful group that provide a number of services to the MoD on a multi-million pound facilities management contract in Scotland.
The position is for an experienced Energy & Sustainability Advisor to join the team, this is a hugely varied role, and day to day duties will include:
• Providing technical skills and expertise on concept design, engineering, and project management of energy efficiency projects, energy management systems, and renewable technology projects.
• Contributing to developing MoD projects on energy efficiency improvement programs and renewable energy development projects in Scotland.
• Engaging with senior MoD and Defence Estates staff on Sustainability.
• Achieving performance improvement for business and environmental sustainability within RPC(S) and on MoD Estate.
• Conducting technology assessment for sustainability, Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, Project Sustainability Appraisal and DREAM Assessment.
• Environmental Management Systems (EMS) implementation and running.
• Developing waste management strategies.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a discipline relevant to the position as a minimum. A Post-graduate degree in energy, engineering or sustainability would be very desirable. You will have a proven track record of consulting within energy and sustainability. Candidates will be subject to Ministry of Defence (MOD) Security Clearance and would be expected to have a minimum of three years UK residency, but preferably five years.
